Bio, 2009: Bill Aldrich

Bill Aldrich, where have you been?

Drafted into the US Army in early 1969, decided I liked it. I traveled to places like Viet Nam, Cambodia, Germany, Panama, Japan, Republic of Viet Nam, Phillippines, American Samosa, Johnson Atoll, Norway, Great Britain, Oklahoma, Kansas, Indiana, Washington DC (3 times) Virginia, Oklahoma, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington State, Alaska, Texas, and many other places on Army business. I retired as a Colonel after over 29 years in the Army.

Along the way, I obtained a BS from Cameron University in Business, a Masters from Central Michigan University in Personnel Management, and am a proud graduate of the US Army War College.

Life after retiring from the US Army found me as the HR Director for the Dallas Texas Sheriff’s Department for two years where I ran their HR & payroll functions, promotions, hired many people, and had many interesting experiences.

The key to much of my success was the love of my life, Jennifer Spears. We have been married for 38 ½ years now, have three beautiful adult sons, and two beautiful grandsons. Jennifer went with me to many places while I was in the Army. Agreeing to follow her after I retired from the US Army, we came to Warrensburg, Missouri. Jennifer has many success stories of her own. She obtained a doctorate from the University of North Texas, despite being a military spouse, and is now a full Professor of
Early Childhood Education at the University of Central Missouri.

Now, I am a Broker, Owner of a Coldwell Banker Real Estate Sales company in Warrensburg, Missouri.
