Reunion 1999: Saturday, June 12, p.m. (page 1)
The individuals and couples shown below did not attend the gathering Friday night (or got there too late for the food, thanks to airline problems or various commitments), but they did make it to The Hideaway on Knoblock Street for lunch on Saturday and/or to Meditations for the dinner Saturday night.
Good times were had by all at both events. We’re especially grateful to The Hideaway for letting us hang around in the back room Saturday afternoon and relive old times till after 3:00. At Meditations in the evening, Bob Walton did a great job as emcee; Gayla Wagner Foster wrote and performed (with help from Bob and from Raymond Burrus) a rap song about our class; and Ann Jay Berry and Betty Burtschi Townsend led everyone in the Pioneer Fight Songs. (Old cheerleaders never die, they just … go to reunions!)
