Reunion 2009: Sunday Breakfast at Ann's House, October 11 (page 1)

What a special treat on Sunday morning! Chef John Gwin, ably assisted by 1st sous chef Wiley Cook, 2nd sous chef Rusty Shaw, cooked a hearty and delicious breakfast for everyone: eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, muffins, gravy, fruit, juice, and coffee. (Would you believe they bought 15 dozen eggs?) Sally Ground Mahar got up at 5:00 a.m. to make cinnamon rolls, and Carol Cobb Hiner made pecan muffins. A great feast indeed!

The superb culinary experience was matched only by the warmth and congenial spirit of the gathering and by Ann and Jim's graciousness in hosting us yet again. (Click on any thumbnail to see a larger version in a new window.)
