Bio, 2009: Rick Rothwell
[With the miracle of the Internet, we were able to locate a number of lost classmates. Rick lived here for a short time; and, while he did not graduate with the Class of 64, many of you may remember him.]
When we left Stillwater, we moved to Victoria, Texas, where I finished high school. From there I went to the University of Texas at Austin on a basketball scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in 1968. From there I went to medical school at U.T. San Antonio and stayed there to finish a residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 1976. That was the end of the draft, and I got caught and spent two years in the Air Force at the Academy in Colorado Springs. After the military I moved to Abilene, Texas, where I have practiced for the last 31 years. I am married and have 6 children (3 girls and 3 boys) and 5 grandchildren. We live on 130 acres 5 minutes from the city limits and raise, train and show cutting horses and have for the last 25 years.
That is about all of my story. It is great to hear from the past and know you and others are doing well. Thanks again.
